Water filtration Media
Green Genetics is a leading stocking distributor of water filter media for industrial and commercial of water filtration systems, including water filtration media such as filter sand and gravel, anthracite filter media, carbon ( charcoal ), coconut shell granulated activated carbon ( GAC ) and more.
Activated carbon is usually made from charcoal, but can be produced from wood, peat or even coconut shells. There are over 150 grades of activated carbon, each with their own uses and applications. Commercially, there are three major product groups; Powdered activated carbon; particle size 1-150 μm, Granular activated carbon, particle size 0.5-4 mm and Extruded activated carbon, partilce size 0.8-4 mm. Most common application for an activated carbon is to remove unpleasant taste, odor compounds and dissolved organic compounds such as taste of chlorine from drinking water and VOC Green Genetics offers a wide variety of domestic and imported activated carbon choices that cover most liquid phase adsorption processes.
An excellent medium density filtration media which works well in multi-media filter applications. Provides higher service flows and longer filter runs than equivalent sand filters It is specifically selected for water treatment, and during its production goes through several sizing inspections
Water filter gravel
Filter rock or filter gravel is used primarily for water filtration applications. We inventory a wide range of filter rock for a variety of applications. Each different type and size of filter rock low impurities serves as an excellent support for a mixed media filter system.
Available filter rock media sizes include:
No.1 size 0.3-0.8 mm.
No.2 size 1 - 2 mm.
No.3 size 2 - 5 mm.
No.4 size 5-10 mm.
No.5 size 10 - 15 mm.
No.6 size 15 - 20 mm.
No.7 size 20 - 30 mm.
No.8 size 30 - 40 mm.
There are two basic types of resin - cation-exchange and anion-exchange resins. Cation exchange resins will release Hydrogen (H+) ions or other positively charged ions in exchange for impurity cations present in the water. Anion exchange resins will release hydroxyl (OH-) ions or other negatively charged ions in exchange for impurity anions present in the water. Its function is to remove scale-forming calcium and magnesium ions from hard water. In many cases soluble iron (ferrous) can also be removed with softeners.
Green Genetics offers a variety of ion exchange resins to suit just about any water treatment application including:
Ultra Pure Water production
Water softening (residential, commercial and industrial)
Fillter nozzle (Strainer)
We offer a qualitative range of Filter Nozzles, which is precisely engineered by using premium quality raw material in accordance with the industry laid standards & norms. The offered range of filter nozzles is wide used in the water treatment plants to filter out clean water and separate dust and other impurities. Nozzles are made in polypropylene (PP) ,ABS or PVDF to suit customer requirements.
